5 new things 2 ♥ about our community!!!

1♥...our most wonderful Fairy Art-Mother (FAM), heather, has been working so diligently to streamline our community site. it looks AWESOME!!! there are still things to do, but she has tackled the most important bits already. just go to our home page and click on the navigation bar categories(the rectangle box beneath the title banner) to see what she's been up to.  that's what i've been doing! LOL! she's just made the site so much easier to use.

our FAM is also an administrative wiz.  she has so many ideas for helping us grow creatively and be an active, creative community. i am so happy to share the next four things. they're gonna be so much fun for all who participate.

2♥...aiiiii!!!!!  art challenges are here! jump in and play!!!!

3♥...photos and videos will now be featured weekly. at almost 800 members, there is plenty of play-full art to choose from. we encourage you to ALWAYS share your art. we are a community. we're all growing together no matter where we are in the journey. there is no need to let "it's not good enough to share" to be part of your art speak. ok? so post those photos and videos! we want to know YOU and grow with YOU!!! everybody has to begin somewhere or begin something or begin again. so be a confident begin-ner along with the rest of us  here and here!

4♥...featured photos will be those that include a little info about the creative process behind the art. it doesn't have to be lengthy or "deep". check out our nifty NEW FAQ page for more info about uploading your photos.

and, finally...

5♥...we are gonna have fun getting to know each other and seeeeeee each other create through our monthly video bites!!! YAY! the topic for may is "your art story". you can approach this topic however you'd like to, and we ask that it be between 3 and 10 minutes long. all monthly video bites will go into a prize drawing at the end of month. happy filming!!!
